Maya Stevenson, MSW

Maya Stevenson (she/her/hers) graduated from Union College with her Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology and minor in Psychology. She received her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Boston College School of Social Work (BCSSW), with a concentration on Children and Families. Additionally, she was a member of the Black Leadership Initiative (BLI) at BCSSW. Maya has provided therapeutic services to children and families in foster care and provided counseling in a school. She has experience with individuals with behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, self-injurious behaviors, and ASD. She uses a holistic and strengths-based approach that incorporates Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients achieve their own unique goals. In her free time she enjoys being with friends and family, cycling, cooking, and cozying up with a nice TV show. ​
