Emma Barbosa, Clinical Intern

Emma Rose Barbosa (they/she) is a clinical intern at SSCFC. They graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is pursuing a master's degree at Lesley University, studying mental health counseling with a specialization in dance/movement therapy (DMT). DMT is a therapeutic approach that utilizes verbal and nonverbal communication to facilitate emotional, social, and physical integration. Emma acknowledges the importance of mind-body integration and aims to use the wisdom of the body to guide healing. Emma is committed to a holistic, embodied practice to meet each client where they are in their healing journey. ​
